Connect editing, motion and image work
My strongest areas for this offering are video editing, motion design and practical creative workflows. For example, we can discuss editing in Final Cut Pro, developing reusable graphics in Apple Motion or preparing visual assets in Pixelmator Pro.
A cross-app lesson can explore the decisions between stages: what belongs in the edit, which graphics would benefit from reuse and how source assets should be prepared. A focused session in a single app may also be the best starting point.

Keynote training
Build a presentation you feel confident delivering. Live one-to-one Keynote lessons can focus on organising your story, making slides clearer and using images, charts and animation with purpose. Bring a deck you are working on, or start with a guided example.
If you need Keynote help with a particular slide, layout or presentation question, we can focus on that rather than follow a full course. The aim is to help you understand the tools and make your own decisions.
Pages training
Create documents that are easier to read and update. Personalised Pages lessons can cover text styles, page layout, images and working with templates, using a report, proposal or other document that matters to you. We can start with the basics or work through a specific formatting problem.
Numbers training
Make your spreadsheets easier to understand. One-to-one Numbers lessons can help you organise tables, work with formulas and present information with charts. Bring a spreadsheet and the questions you want to answer so we can build your understanding around a practical example.

How your private lesson works
- Choose your focus. Tell me your software, experience and what you want to learn. Bring a project, choose guided practice or ask me to suggest a learning route.
- Choose your session. Select a duration and available time in the booking panel. Prices are shown in GBP before you book. If you are unsure what suits you, enquire first.
- Learn together online. We use screen sharing to work through your questions, explore techniques and practise at your pace. The session can adapt as questions arise; you do the work with guidance, rather than simply watch a demonstration.

Are these live, private lessons?
Yes. You work one-to-one with Charlie online, with screen sharing, questions and practical guidance adapted to you. These Apple Creator Studio sessions are live tuition rather than a recorded course.
What do I need for an online lesson?
A computer with your chosen software, a reliable internet connection and a way to speak and share your screen during the session. Tell me your software version and any relevant hardware or access needs before booking so we can agree a suitable session.
Why choose private tuition rather than tutorials or a recorded course?
Tutorials can be a useful starting point. A live private lesson lets you ask follow-up questions, explore why a technique works and apply it to your own project. I can adapt the explanation and pace as we go, rather than asking you to follow a fixed sequence of steps.
Do I need to follow a set curriculum?
No. I can suggest a structured learning route if you would like one, or build the session around your project, questions and goals. We check what you already know and fill in the gaps, with time to practise rather than simply watch a demonstration.
Can I bring my own project?
Yes. Bring your presentation, document, spreadsheet, video or graphics project and the questions you want to work through. We can focus on the work you need to do, or use a guided example if you are starting from scratch.
How long are sessions, and what do they cost?
Choose 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes. The booking panel shows the total GBP price for each duration. A shorter session suits a focused question; a longer one gives more time for guided practice.
Can I book from outside the UK?
Yes. Lessons are delivered remotely and are available to international clients. Check the available times or enquire about your time zone and availability before booking.
Can I book Keynote, Pages or Numbers training on its own?
Yes. You do not need to study the whole collection. Book an Apple Creator Studio session and tell me which app you want to learn and what you want to achieve. We can focus entirely on Keynote, Pages or Numbers.
Do I need an Apple Creator Studio subscription for Keynote, Pages or Numbers lessons?
No. We can work with the features available in your version of Keynote, Pages or Numbers without a Creator Studio subscription. Tell me your device, app version and any particular feature you want help with before booking.
Are you a certified Keynote, Pages and Numbers trainer?
Yes. I am a certified trainer in Keynote, Pages and Numbers, as well as Final Cut Pro. I also spent ten years in a lead training role at Apple. Lessons combine that teaching experience with practical help adapted to your goals.
Does this cover every app at the same level?
We agree the scope around your goals and my relevant expertise. Alongside editing and motion design, I offer certified training in Keynote, Pages and Numbers. For other apps or specialist techniques, tell me what you need before booking.
Should I choose a single-app session instead?
If you already know the app and skill you want to learn, a focused session may be more useful. Broader guidance is helpful when choosing a workflow or deciding where to start.
Can we work through a problem in my project?
Yes—tell me what’s happening and what you’d like to achieve. We can investigate it together and explore possible solutions. Some issues depend on the source files, software or hardware, so a specific fix can’t be guaranteed.

You’re not alone. Following someone else’s steps is one thing; knowing how to apply them to your own project is another.
